Source: Partner clinic informational material (cooperation quote, received 2026-07-18)

Before surgery (standard aesthetic-surgery protocol)

Two weeks before

  • Stop: aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil, anticoagulant supplements
  • No late nights, heavy drinking, or strong sun exposure

One week before

  • Stop all aggressive skincare: retinol, acids, strong whitening actives
  • Avoid facial allergy, redness, broken skin

The day before

  • Wash face and hair thoroughly (no hair-washing for several days after surgery)
  • Eat light — no binges, no high salt

Surgery day

  • Bare face — no foundation or primer
  • No jewellery or contact lenses
  • Fast, or follow the doctor's instructions

Confirm at the pre-op consultation

  • Lift plane, lift direction, incision placement, amount of skin removal
  • Whether to combine: platysma tightening, fat redistribution, pre-auricular contour refinement

After surgery

Key requirements Compression face-jaw garment for 7–15 days: worn 24 hours a day for the first 7 days, then 12 hours a day. Two nights of in-hospital observation and 3 days of IV therapy after surgery.

Days 0–7 — swelling phase, the critical stabilisation window

  1. Ice for the first 3 days to reduce swelling, seepage, and bruising
  2. No large head turns; no exaggerated expressions (big laughs, wide mouth-opening)
  3. Absolutely no pressing or rubbing the surgical area
  4. Very low-salt, light, soft food — nothing hot, spicy, or hard
  5. No late nights; sleep with the head elevated to reduce facial congestion

Days 7–30 — tissue healing phase

  1. After suture removal keep incisions dry; apply scar-care products
  2. No gym, sweating, or strenuous exercise
  3. No sauna, hot baths, or strong sun
  4. No energy-device treatments, skin boosters, or massage
  5. A tight, pulling sensation is normal fascia healing

Months 1–3 — collagen regeneration and setting

  1. Skin gradually softens; contours become increasingly refined
  2. Deep tissue fully adheres and fixes; results reach their peak
  3. No external pulling or stretching of the face
  4. Normal gentle skincare; strict sun protection

Long-term maintenance

  • Light energy-device maintenance is fine after 3 months
  • Good sleep habits and anti-glycation maximise how long results last
