Before surgery

These requirements apply to all three of the clinic's liposuction systems.
Mandatory pre-op tests
Complete blood count, coagulation panel (four tests), liver and kidney function, infectious-disease screening, and ECG.
⚠️ Abnormal coagulation is an absolute contraindication — surgery cannot be performed.
Stop these 2 weeks before
Aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil, and blood-activating supplements (notoginseng/sanqi, danshen) — they worsen bleeding and bruising.
Timing
- Avoid your period; no surgery within 3 days either side of it
- If your cycle is long (e.g. 40 days), aim for the mid-to-late follicular phase, when metabolism is most stable
Body condition
- Don't operate during a cold or any active inflammation
- For facial areas, avoid rosacea flare-up periods
- Arrive well-rested with adequate sleep
